Home Minister P Chidambaram was today non-committal on a possible tie-up with Congress and the Jayalalithaa-led AIADMK in Tamil Nadu after the Lok Sabha polls.
"Our ally in Tamil Nadu is DMK. We are confident that DMK-Congress will put up a very good show in Tamil Nadu," he told a press conference here when asked to comment on Jayalalithaa's remarks that a "good politician never rules out anything".
Expressing confidence that the DMK-Congress alliance would return with a "large number", Chidambaram did not want to speculate on any other party, making it clear that "our ally in Tamil Nadu is DMK."
