| The statement indicates that the UPA government is in no mood for a caste-based census. On March 29, a two-member Bench of Justice Arijit Pasayat and Justice LK Panta had stayed the implementation of the quota and questioned the data on the basis of which the figure of 27 per cent was reached. |
