Vimta Plans 15 Diagnostic Labs In Chennai
Hyderabad-based Vimta Labs Limited (VLL) plans to open 15 clinical diagnostic labs in Chennai over the next one year. This is part of the Rs 8 crore expansion that VLL has embarked on for the current financial year.
The company recently tied up with the Voluntary Health Services (VHS) in Chennai for the Vimta VHS Research Centre in Chennai at an investment of Rs 3 crore.
The company has also plans to open a biotech lab in Ticel Biopark in Chennai at an investment of Rs 4 crore.
Announcing the launch of Vimta VHS Research Centre, S P Vasireddi, the chairman and managing director of VLL, said:
