Bajra, maize rise as demand picks up

Bajra and maize prices firmed by up to Rs 20 per quintal in the wholesale grains market on increased industrial demand against tight supply.
Traders said besides tight supply, increased industrial demand mainly pushed up wholesale bajra and maize prices.
In the national capital, bajra gained Rs 10 and maize prices rose by Rs 20 to Rs 930-940 and Rs 1,170-1,180 per quintal, respectively.
