Banco Product India soared 19 per cent to Rs 37.15 on the BSE after the company scheduled a board meet on April 17, 2008 to consider the buy-back of equity shares. A total of 2.18 lakh shares were traded on the BSE counter.
 
The scrip had average daily volumes of 41,646 shares in the past quarter. The stock hit a high of Rs 37.55 and a low of Rs 30.95 during the day.
 
The small-cap scrip underperformed the market over the past one month till April 9, declining by 10.19 per cent compared to the Sensex's fall of 2.06 per cent.
