Hindalco GDR up 3.19%

DR ROUND-UP

The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) was up 1.5 per cent to 1334.79 in early morning trades on Monday. Among the ISDI GDR stocks, five advanced while one remained unchanged and one lost ground.

The major gainers were-Hindalco, up 16.67 per cent to $28, Bajaj Auto, up 3.19 per cent to $32.30 and State Bank of India, up 2.75 per cent to $42.95. The only loser was-ITC, down 0.92 per cent to $39.88.

During its previous close, among ISDI ADRs, five advanced and three lost ground. The major gainers were-VSNL, up 8.54 per cent to $15.63, Infosys, up 1.14 per cent to $70.17 and Dr Reddy's, up 0.93 per cent to $17.36.

The losers were-HDFC Bank, down 3.08 per cent to $45.60, Wipro, down 1.46 per cent to $20.21 and Satyam Computer, down 0.53 per cent to $26.05.

The Instanex Skindia DR Index was up 1.28 per cent to 1327.33 and was trading at a P/E of 21.12.
