The ING Vysya Bank scrip surged 8.55 per cent to Rs 201.15 on healthy quarterly numbers. Net profit for the June quarter rose 48.3 per cent year-on-year to Rs 60.26 crore while income increased 22.5 per cent to Rs 742.85 crore.

The rise was aided by a healthy growth in net interest income and higher treasury income. The stock opened at 192 and made an intra-day high of Rs 206.9 with trading volumes of 220,000 shares. The stock has recorded a 52-week high of Rs 271 (September 8, 2008) and a low of Rs 103.25 (March 6, 2009).
