| "Due to high international prices we may be able to register incremental increase in exports during the year,'' he said. Rubber imports into the country from April 1 to September 12 totalled 34,157 tonne, he said. |

| Most of the imports were contracted during the first quarter of the current fiscal, when international prices were lower than domestic prices, he said. |
