Zodiac Clothing zooms on 1:1 bonus issue

Zodiac Clothing touched its 52 week high at Rs 678.45 after the company announced for a 1:1 bonus issue. The scrip closed at Rs 616.80 on Monday. The company has fixed 25 October as the record date for the 1:1 bonus.

Zodiac Clothing is famous for its premium quality shirts and ties. The company's net profit for the quarter ended June 2005 declined 13 per cent to Rs 0.93 crore as compared to Rs 1.07 crore for the same quarter last year.

Net sales rose 7 per cent to Rs 33.29 crore for Q1 June 2005 as compared to Rs 31.17 crore last year for the same quarter.
