Govt. makes elaborate arrangements to deal with emergencies arising during Int'l Yoga Day

The Central Government has made elaborate arrangements to deal with any emergencies arising out of prevailing heat wave conditions during the International Yoga Day on Sunday.

More than 35,000 people are expected to perform various asanas here at Rajpath.

According to reports, the Union Health Ministry has set up dedicated health posts with adequate number of doctors and para-medical staff with necessary equipments across Rajpath.

The entire venue has been divided into various sectors and each sector will have dedicated health posts to take care of any emergencies.

Around 40 ambulances will be stationed across the venue.
