Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia will be taking part in the International Yoga Day celebrations set to take place in Rajpath tomorrow.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick-start the much-awaited event in the national capital, where over 40,000 people are expected to participate.

The United Nations declared June 21 as International Day of Yoga after adopting a measure proposed by Prime Minister Modi. Modi had in his speech at the UN General Assembly in September last year called for recognition of such a day.

An enthusiastic practitioner of yoga himself, Modi set up a new ministry for yoga last year.

Indian government has drawn up extensive plans to promote yoga on June 21. Over 100,000 camps will be set up across the country on that day for people to do yoga wherein millions are expected to take part.
