'Walking Dead' showrunner Glen Mazzara to pen 'Omen' follow-up TV series

Former 'The Walking Dead' showrunner Glen Mazzara is developing a follow-up TV show to the 1976 horror classic 'Omen'.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 46-year-old producer will be writing the script for the Lifetime network horror drama and will also executive produce the project through his 44 Strong Productions banner as part of his overall deal with Fox Television Studios.

The project titled 'Damien' will show the character Damien Thorn as an adult, who must finally face his true destiny as an Antichrist.
