Chennai Petroleum Corporation standalone net profit declines 31.09% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 17.77% to Rs 6819.15 crore

Net profit of Chennai Petroleum Corporation declined 31.09% to Rs 170.81 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 247.88 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 17.77% to Rs 6819.15 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 5790.18 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 38.81% to Rs 1029.75 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 741.86 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.13% to Rs 27669.92 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 25828.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
