Housing Development Finance Corporation commits equity investment of Rs 1000 cr in Yes Bank

Housing Development Finance Corporation has issued a equity commitment letter to invest Rs 1000 crore in Yes Bank for subscription of 100 crore equity shares of Yes Bank at a price of Rs 10 each (including premium of Rs 8 per share). As per the scheme of reconstruction, 75% of the total investment by the Corporation would be locked in for 3 years.
