F&O turnover rises
Nifty July 2015 futures were at 8354, at a discount of 6.85 points from spot closing of 8360.85. Nifty June 2015 futures were at 8333.35, at a discount of 27.50 points from spot closing of 8360.85. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 4.19 lakh crore from turnover of Rs 3.98 lakh crore registered during the previous trading session yesterday, 23 June 2015.
Reliance Industries June 2015 futures were at 986, at a discount compared to spot closing of 987.15.
HDFC Bank June 2015 futures were at 1044, near spot closing of 1044.20.
State Bank of India June 2015 futures were at 261.05, near spot closing of 261.20.
In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty fell 20.70 points or 0.25% to settle at 8,360.85, its lowest closing level since 22 June 2015.
The June 2015 F&O contracts are set to expire tomorrow, 25 June 2015. The July 2015 F&O contracts expire on 30 July 2015.
