Turnover drops
The November 2015 futures on the 50-unit CNX Nifty index traded at 8,084, at a premium of 18.20 points compared with Nifty's closing of 8,065.80 in the cash market.
Turnover on NSE's F&O segment fell to Rs 1.70 lakh crore from turnover of Rs 5.16 lakh crore registered during previous trading session on Thursday, 29 October 2015.
In the cash market, the Nifty skidded 45.95 points or 0.57% to settle at 8,065.80, its lowest closing level since 1 October 2015.
L&T, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Dr Reddy's Laboratories and ITC were the top traded individual stock futures contracts on the F&O segment of NSE.
L&T November 2015 futures traded at 1,410, at a premium compared with the stock's spot closing of 1,407.90.
ICICI Bank November 2015 futures traded at 278.70, at a premium compared with spot closing of 276.85.
Axis Bank November 2015 futures traded at 476.75, at a premium compared with the stock's spot closing of 475.50.
Dr Reddy's Laboratories November 2015 futures traded at 4,298.30, at a premium compared with the stock's spot closing of 4,285.
ITC November 2015 futures traded at 335.65, at a premium compared with the stock's spot closing of 334.35.
The November 2015 F&O contracts are set to expire on 26 November 2015.
