Andhra Pradesh will sign 13 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with various Chinese companies during Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's six-day visit to China, which began on Sunday.

A high-level delegation led by Naidu reached Beijing on Sunday. The delegation, which includes two ministers and senior officials, will sign six government-to-business (G2B) MoUs during the visit to Beijing.

These include a MoU with Camel Group Co Ltd, which is engaged in the research and development, manufacture, distribution and recycling of storage batteries.

Another agreement will be inked with China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, an industry body that promotes China's international economic and commercial interests.

A MoU will be inked with Guizhou International Investment Corporation. A delegation from the company had visited Visakhapatnam in November last year.

The government will also sign a MoU with Sinoma International Engineering Co Ltd, which operates in equipment manufacturing and supply and engineering sector, said an official statement here on Sunday.

Another MoU will be inked with New Hope Liuhe Co. Limited, which is engaged in integration of farming industry operations, such as feed production, livestock breeding and slaughtering, and meat processing.

Under the business-to-business (B2B) segment, two key MoUs will be signed with Chinese industries in Beijing.

Vertex Cements (India), which has already come forward to set up their cement unit at Gangavaram in Guntur district, will ink an agreement with Sinoma.

Leading manufacturer and supplier of apparels Brandix and Chinese professional manufacturer and exporter of blankets, Jiangsu Kingday Textile Co Ltd will sign a MoU.

The delegation will sign three MoUs with Chinese companies in its second destination - Chengdu.

The delegation will meet industrialists, investors and businessmen inviting them to explore investment opportunities in the state.

This is the fifth foreign visit by Naidu since assuming office in June last year. He twice visited Singapore. Naidu also toured Japan.
