District judge I.S. Mehta in an in-camera proceeding issued the production warrant against Jundal and posted the matter for further hearing Oct 13.
Jundal has been chargesheeted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for offences punishable under the Indian Penal Code and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act for allegedly attempting to recruit people through the internet for joining the banned outfit.
Jundal was a key plotter of the 2008 Mumbai attack and is currently lodged in the Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai in connection with a conspiracy to launch terror strikes in India.
He was deported from Saudi Arabia June 25, 2012.
