DTC buses soon on more routes

"Delhi's population is increasing day by day. Further, new colonies are also coming up in far-flung localities. It becomes appropriate to start new routes," Delhi Transport Minister Ramakant Goswami said.

"The DTC would start new routes as per the need of the localities, based on a study being conducted on a regular basis by DTC," the minister said.

A total of 3,106 DTC buses ply on over 750 routes.
