Union Law Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda did not find anything wrong in veteran film star Amitabh Bachchan, whose name figures in the Panama Papers, being present during the celebrations on completion of two years by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government at the India Gate lawns.
"The planned celebrations and participation of Amitabh Bachchan have no connection. Investigations are being conducted by an independent agency (CBI)," Sadanand Gowda said in reply to question on the presence of the film star at the celebrations.
The law minister was asked about Bachchan's presence at the celebration being held at India Gate on May 28, in the course of his press meet to highlight the achievements of his ministry on the completion of two years of the Narendra Modi government in office.
