They're men too

At most press conferences, Left leaders are inevitably asked who will be the prime minister in a possible Third Front government. CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat was asked which woman would be the prime minister — BSP chief Mayawati or AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa. Karat showed a rare sense of humour and quipped, “Why are you only concerned about women? There are many men in the group too who can become prime ministers!”
