3 armed men rob Samsung warehouse of items worth Rs 15 lakh

Three armed men allegedly robbed warehouse of a technology company here of items worth around Rs 15 lakh before beating up its employees who tried to stop them, police said today. The three robbers entered Samsung company's warehouse 'Optimus Infracom Limited' yesterday around 7 PM and started looting the items, following which three employees tried to stop them, SP (City) Shivshankar Yadav said. The accused then beat up accountant Pradeep Sharma, Branch Head Ajay Kumar and office boy Lokesh and also robbed them of their valuables including chain, ring and cash, Yadav said. A complaint has been lodged in the police station, the SP said, adding, the matter was being probed.
