The films 'Addicted in Afghanistan' by Jawed Taiman, 'Check point' (Hamid Alizade), 'Half Value Life' (Alka Sadat) and 'Death to the Camera' (Sayed Qasem Hossaini), have been shown at various festivals before.
Besides the Afghan package, an African package will also be a major attraction at the festival, according to sources at the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, the organisers of the event.
A package of films by eminent British documentary filmaker Richard Leacock and a retrospective of Bulgarian director Adela Peeva is also part of the festival.
