"Nobody needs to have any doubts about it," the veteran legislator remarked when asked about alleged Congress- YSR Congress deal, adding there was no better quid pro quo than the bail granted to Jagan in a corruption case.
"It is astonishing that the CBI, probing into Jagan's illegal assets, gave him a 'clean chit' in the case. This happened only at the behest of the Congress high command."
"There is no better proof of the deal than the permission granted to Jagan for conducting the Samaikya Andhra (united AP) rally in Hyderabad today," Diwakar said.
Regular trains were cancelled because of heavy rains but 18 special trains were operated to Hyderabad from different parts of the State for ferrying YSRC workers, the former Minister said.
Asked about Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy's letters to the President and Prime Minister against the proposed bifurcation of the State, the Congress leader saw nothing wrong in it.
