The DG Lighting Gautam Patnaik should be asked to explain why 540 files were made for the installation of trident lights worth Rs 27 in the city, Chatterjee said after a meeting of the Members in Mayor in Council (MMIC).
The opposition CPI(M) and other parties are alleging corruption in the installation of trident lights in the city and have demanded an inquiry into the matter.
