Man dies in police custody

Rampal Sonker was picked by police during raid at a gambling den and he later died at the police station after allegedly being beaten by police in Nand Khera village late last night, sources said.

Agitated with the incident, villagers attacked and vandalised the police station.

An FIR has been lodged against eight police personnel, including the chowkidar, in this connection, they said.
