Additional District and Sessions Judge Jitendra Kumar has booked charges against the accused Sushil alias Moonch under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
Sushil had made an attempt on the life of another history-sheeter Nafis Kalia in 1999 in court premises in which one person was killed while Nafis was injured.
Sushil, who was carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head, is wanted in several cases here. He was arrested from Rajasthan's Jaipur on November 21 by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force.
