Launching the new facility, Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath said more services of the DDA will go online to reduce paper work and hassles of the people.
The software will help people apply online for conversion of land from leasehold to freehold and the applicant can track the status of his request and fulfill formalities through emails.
The applicant has to come to the DDA office only once now, Nath said.
On the Masterplan 2021, Nath said the DDA has received over 4,000 suggestions and the Ministry has finalised on 23 specific amendments for issuing public notice.
He said in order to accommodate community needs of the residents of residential group housing, the present area of 400 sqm is being enhanced to 1200 sqm free from FAR that will facilitate provision of recreational hall, creche and library.
"In the industrial areas, residential component mainly for workers housing is being proposed which is currently not permissible. The definition of industrial plot is proposed to be revised to remove restriction of 50 workers," he said.
Nath said hospitals upto 100 beds are being proposed on industrial plots.
He said a separate chapter of Transit Oriented Development along Metro corridors would be identified and notified in the next one month.
Nath said the policy on land pooling which replaces the policy for 'large scale acquisition of land' and makes farmers partners in the development process is at an advance stage of formulation and is likely to be finalised within one month.
He also said the DDA has begun work on 20,000 flats for economically weaker sections and the agency should set a target of constructing 1 lakh houses every year.
Nath said four social cultural centres on the pattern of India Habitat Centre is being planned in four zones.
