The company in a BSE filing said that its "generation capacity increased by close to 9 per cent in Q1 FY2016-17 as compared to Q1 FY2015-16. The company has a significant presence in the clean energy space with a gross installed capacity of 1,996 MW.
Overall in Q1 FY2016-17, the company continued its robust operations with Maithon Power station generating 1,845 million units (MUs). Standalone generation for the quarter stood at 3,163 MUs.
