40 Industries Record 20% Output Growth

Ascon which is an association of all the affiliates of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) met in Hyderabad on Thursday.

In the basic goods sector, cold rolled steel strips industry recorded a 27 per cent growth, mini-steel 28 per cent, oxygen and petrol 20 per cent each. The cement industry recorded a 13 per cent growth, while the paints industry saw a 19 per cent growth in production. The production of diesel grew 10 per cent.
