A case was today registered against a Congress candidate and his driver for allegedly violating the model code of conduct in Bansdeeh area here, police said.
Congress candidate Bacha Pathak was going with a lot of campaigning material without permission last night, SP Rambharose said.
He said that an FIR has been registered against Pathak and his driver while his campaigning material has been seized.
