Trade With Germany

Germany is the number two partner for India in terms of trade and economic cooperation and we will continue this position and even expand it in the coming years, German ambassador Heinrich Dietrich Dieckmann said yesterday. During 1997, trade between the two countries totalled 9 billion marks. Nearly 700 to 800 joint ventures between small and medium companies of both the countries came up during the last few years. PTI
