Typhoon Kills 2 In Japan

At least two people were killed and 35 others were injured in central Japan on Sunday when Typhoon Violet stormed along the country's Pacific coast.
Rail traffic in and around Tokyo was paralysed and Shinkansen bullet train services halted.
Packing maximum winds of 126 kph, Violet flattened trees and pylons, blowing off roof tiles and triggering landslides in central Japan.
Police said a total of two deaths and 35 injuries were reported.
