Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday announced that projects worth more than Rs 200 crore are being launched in the Kirari-?Najafgarh belt, which will play a decisive role in resolving long-pending infrastructural challenges in the area. Gera to invest ₹1,100 cr in new wellness-centric housing project in Pune

Realty firm Gera Developments will invest about Rs 1,100 crore to develop a new housing project in Pune as part of its expansion plan. In an interview with PTI, Rohit Gera, Managing Director of Pune-based Gera Developments Pvt Ltd, said the company has entered into wellness-centric homes, starting with an 8-acre upcoming project in Pune. "We have roped in Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan as brand ambassador for Gera's WellnessCentric Homes," he added. Elaborating on the first wellness-centric project, Rohit said the company will develop around 1,000 flats in the two phases of this 8-acre project. In the first phase, the company will launch around 500 units for sale, with a starting rate of around Rs 1.25 crore per unit. Asked about the project cost, Rohit said the investment would be around Rs 1,100 crore, including land. Tamil Nadu CM Stalin lays foundation for 14 projects worth ₹17.65 cr

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for 14 new development projects worth Rs 17.65 crore and inaugurated several new buildings for the police department during his visit to Kolathur, his home constituency. Among the key inaugurations was the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Kolathur and a new police station at the Kalaignar Centenary Bus Terminus in Kilambakkam, constructed for Rs 18.26 crore. Stalin also inaugurated additional school buildings at the Chennai Girls' Higher Secondary School in Perambur, built for Rs 9.74 crore. PM Modi to launch ₹7,000 crore development projects during Bihar visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch development projects worth more than Rs 7,000 crore during his visit to Bihar on Friday, a senior party leader said. According to state BJP president Dilip Jaiswal, Modi will address a public meeting at Gandhi Maidan in Motihari town, the headquarters of East Champaran district. Need 10% nominal GDP growth a year to achieve Viksit Bharat goal: CII chief

India needs an average nominal GDP growth rate of 10 per cent annually to achieve the government's vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047, CII President Rajiv Memani said. Nominal GDP is the total value of goods and services produced in a country, measured using current market prices, without adjusting for inflation, unlike real GDP. "India would require an average about 10 per cent nominal growth to achieve the Viksit Bharat vision," Memani told PTI.
