Return of the net neutrality debate

Years after net neutrality occupied centre stage, as against the ‘walled garden’ or closed digital ecosystem, the debate has made a comeback. A telecom company recently launched a value-added service for its post-paid customers through slicing of spectrum, triggering an outcry that the principle of net neutrality had been breached.
