Avatar beats Titanic in overseas market

Director James Cameron’s 3-D magic, Avatar, has beaten his Oscar-winning film, Titanic in the run for the highest grosser in the international market.

The film has hit $1.29 billion at the international box office, according to producers Fox, passing Titanic’s mark of $1.24 billion to set the new record, E! online reported.
