CBI seeks cancellation of bail to DCHL promoters

The court will take up the matter after two weeks

B Dasarath Reddy Hyderabad

Hyderabad High Court on Thursday issued notices to Deccan Chronicle Holdings Limited (DCHL) chairman T Venkattram Reddy and vice chairman and managing director T Vinayak Ravi Reddy to file the counters in a petition filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) seeking the cancellation of bail granted to them by a lower court on April 15.

CBI counsel P Keshava Rao argued before the court that the bail was given on technical reasons and not on real merits of the case.

The court will take up the matter after two weeks.
