Cera Sanitaryware eyes Rs 500-cr turnover by 2012-13

Bathroom accessories firm Cera Sanitaryware today said it targets a turnover of Rs 500 crore in the next three-four years on the back of its tie-ups with international brands and expanding retail presence.
The company today announced its tie-up with Italian premium brand Novellini and is looking at achieving sales of up to Rs 30 crore from this deal within next two years.
"We want to make this firm a Rs 500-crore company by 2012-13. We had turnover of Rs 160 crore last year and it is growing at the rate of 30 per cent and if we maintain this rate, we can achieve the target," Cera Sanitaryware Executive Director Vidush Somany told reporters here.
"We already have distribution tie-ups with foreign brands like Rondine, Gigacer and Todagress. International brands contribute to a big chunk of our sale and we hope to achieve a sales of Rs 25-30 crore in the next one year from Novellini's ranges," he added.
Somany further said the company is planning to increase its number of retail points to around 6,000 multi-brand outlets across the country during next one year.
"We have around 500-600 dealers across the country and around 4,000 sub-dealers in the form of multi-brand presence. Our plan to expand our retail presence to around 6,000 multi-brand retail points in the next one year," he said.
Cera portfolio includes ranges of bathroom tiles, shower panels, tapes and other bath accessories.
