Daimler inks MoU with TN Govt for additional investment

Daimler India Limited today signed a MoU with the Tamil Nadu Government to enhance its investment to Rs 4,000 crore.

The MoU was exchanged between Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and Marc Listosella, CEO & Managing Director, Daimler at Chennai today.

It may be noted on April 18, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister inagurated the commercial vehicle Plant of Daimler India Limited at Oragadam, near Chennai.

The company so far invested about Rs 2,500 crore, according to Tamil Nadu Government's Industries Department.
