Dr Reddy's scrip hits month low on BSE; slips over 4%

Dr Reddy's Laboratories today plunged over four per cent in the early trade on BSE, amid reports of gas leakage in the pharma giant's Bollaram facility in Hyderabad.
According to media reports, a gas leakage happened in the Dr Reddy's Hyderabad plant today, in which two employees of the company have lost their lives.
Reacting to the news, shares of Dr Reddy's tanked by 4.13 per cent to a month-low of Rs 1,618 per piece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The scrip saw a similar fall on the National Stock Exchange, and quoted at Rs 1,616.10, down 4.18 per cent in the morning session.
Meanwhile, the 30-share benchmark Sensex was trading at 20,084.07, up 23.75 points from previous close.
