IndiGo has received Airbus award for best operational excellence amongst 311 airlines who use Airbus planes.
IndiGo was selected based on data covering two years of operations and taking into account the number of aircraft in the fleet, daily utilisation rate, technical reliability and the number of delays caused due to operational reasons.
Aditya Ghosh, President, IndiGo said, “To be recognized at the world stage is indeed an exhilarating and yet overwhelming feeling. We are less than 8 years old and to be compared against some of the world’s largest airlines is an honour in itself and then to come out ahead, is amazing!"
