Neyveli Lignite Corporation today said its consolidated net profit rose by 52 per cent to Rs 1,247.4 crore for the year ended March 31, 2010, over the same period last year.
Total income rose to Rs 4,719.7 crore for the fiscal ended March 31, from Rs 4,019.8 crore in the same period previous fiscal, Neyveli Lignite Corporation said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The board of directors has proposed a dividend of Rs 1 per share.
On the standalone basis, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 1,247.4 crore, up 52 per cent over the same year-ago period.
Shares of Neyveli Lignite Corporation today closed at Rs 139.60 on the BSE, down 0.11 per cent from previous close.
