SNJ Distillers to launch own beer brand

SNJ Distillers is planning to invest around Rs 170 crore in setting up the new brewery unit, which will come near Chennai. The investment will be funded through debt and internal accruals, said Jayamurugan. The proposed facility will have a capacity of one million hecto litres per annum. Recently the company has acquired Leela Distillers Pvt Ltd, a manufacturing unit in Goa.
