Bangalore-based Headstart Network Foundation, a organization run by volunteers and full time professionals to create and promote the innovation ecosystem in India, in association with TiE-Hyderabad, ISB's Wadhwani Center for Entrepreneurship Development and IIIT-Hyderabad, is organizing a job-search program for professionals who want to work in a start-up on December 15 in Hyderabad.

This event - HeadStart Higher - will act as a platform for the start-ups to hire good talent from the market, Amit Singh, co-founder and director of Headstart Network Foundation, said in a release.

"In the last few year, start-ups are emerging as hot-spots to work. Students from IIIT-H, BITS and ISB have putting more efforts in a start-up placement than their main placement," he said.

More than 130 start-ups have participated in the HeadStart Higher event in Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai in last five months. The Hyderabad event is expected to see participation from more than 50 start-ups, he added.

Last decade saw a wave of unprecedented job creation by entrepreneurs in software, retail, financial services, healthcare and education sector in the country, Ramesh Loganathan, co-founder of Headstart, said.
