Sri Venkateshwara Multiplexes Private Limited, which operates the SVM@36 exclusive gaming mall here, is set to open six new multiplexes in the next three months in three cities of Andhra Pradesh.
The company has invested Rs 30 crore in these units, of which, four will be in Hyderabad and one each at Karimnagar and Vijayawada, SVM group chairman Vijayender Tulla said on the sidelines of a youth forum here on Friday.
The Young Communicators’ Forum, which has 350 members, launched the Hyderabad chapter of Ybrants Initiative meant for communications professionals and students. The SVM group has 22 screens including the ongoing projects, Tulla said, adding the company had set a target of setting up 100 screens in five years.
The upcoming mall at Vijayawada will have a major portion for entertainment and gaming like their exclusive gaming mall at Jubilee Hills, he said. This would offer bowling alleys and gaming consoles offering Nintendo Wii, PS 3, Xbox among others.
