"Sastry has expressed his desire to move out of the company for personal reasons and is expected to be relieved from service within six months," the Chennai-based company said in a BSE filing.
"The company is taking steps for the leadership transformation to implement its growth strategy and new initiatives in services and POS (point of sale) solutions", it said.
Shares of the company were trading during afternoon at Rs 16.80 apiece, up by 4.61 per cent over the previous close on the BSE.
