VAL organizes free medical camp

Vedanta Aluminum Limited (VAL) in association with the Delhi-based Lakshya Bhartee Foundation organized a one-day free medical camp for polio and physically challenged patients at Junagarh in Kalhandi district. Twenty wheel chairs and tricycles were distributed to the polio affected while 50 patients were identified for surgery. The wheel chairs were handed over to the polio victims in the presence of K R Kundu, Head-Human Resource, VAL and Kamal Kumar of Lakshya Bhartee Foundation. Sabita Swain, Chief Medical Officer and Supriti Patra of Vedanta Hospital were also present on the medical camp to treat the patients. A total of 402 patients were registered on the day-long medical camp.
