WNS buys South African firm for $15.5 mn

Business process outsourcing firm WNS (Holdings) announced that it had acquired UK-based insurance broker BGL Group’s South African unit, Fusion Outsourcing Services, for a consideration of $15.5 million (around Rs 87 crore). Based on Fusion’s existing book of business, the acquisition is expected to contribute incremental revenue of $9-10 million for WNS in FY13. WNS expects the transaction to be neutral to adjusted earnings per share in FY13, and accretive in FY14.
