 "All eyes on GST debate in Rajya Sabha")
Parliament met on Monday, with the Lok Sabha unanimously passing the GST bill along with all the amendments made in the Rajya Sabha. All 443 members of the lower house voted in favour of the bill after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley asked for the bill to be passed.
The lower house had passed the Bill on May 6, 2015 and sent it to the Rajya Sabha for ratification. The upper house passed the Bill with amendments at its August 3 session and returned it to Lok Sabha.
AIADMK leader P.Venugopal led a walk out of party MPs after the party was not satisfied with Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's clarifications on GST Bill.
