Holiday season returns: India to witness travel surge, says report

Travel has seen a major increase in the past few months as restrictions are lifted and more people are willing to step out to visit new and old destinations. 

The Glance Spotlight on Travel 2021 Report revealed the emerging consumer sentiment and growth trajectory of the travel industry in 2022. 

Over 1,400 Indian mobile users were surveyed on InMobi Pulse, a leading mobile consumer intelligence platform. The survey was conducted between 15 and 21 October 2021.

Wanderlust on the rise: 50% of respondents are planning to travel

Family time on priority list: 37% want to travel with their loved ones

Indian hotspots will steal the show: 47% are planning domestic vacations

Combo packages favoured: 34% are planning to book a combo deal of flight & stay

Shopping on the list: 70% plan to shop for vacation
